Mental Health Care for Entrepreneurs Matters

Entrepreneurship can be exciting, but it also comes with a lot of stress. According to a survey by Founder Reports, 87.7% of entrepreneurs struggle with at least one mental health issue. About 50.2% deal with anxiety, and 34.4% experience burnout (Founder Reports).

Research from the University of California also found that 72% of entrepreneurs are affected by mental health issues in some way, while only 48% of non-entrepreneurs face the same struggles (Startup Grind).

These numbers show that specialized mental health support is very important for entrepreneurs.

Why Psychotherapy for Entrepreneurs and High-Achievers?

High achievers and entrepreneurs are wired to push limits, take risks, and chase big goals—but that drive can also lead to burnout, anxiety, and feeling stuck in a cycle of never-ending pressure and deadlines. I know this because I’ve been there. As a business owner myself, I’ve experienced the exhaustion, self-doubt, and the belief that I had to do it all alone. That’s why I specialize in helping entrepreneurs and high performing professionals like you navigate these challenges without sacrificing yourself in the process.

In our work together, we’ll focus on preventing burnout so you can see your options clearly and make decisions with confidence. You’ll learn high-level emotional skills like observer mind—helping you step back, witness yourself, and shift your perspective when challenges arise. And as much as you might believe that work-life balance isn’t realistic for someone like you, the truth is you need it—and it doesn’t have to mean taking weekends off or forcing yourself to meditate. We’ll tailor it to you, creating off-time that revitalizes, energizes, and even fuels your business growth.

These psychological challenges frequently impact entrepreneurs and top-performing professionals...

Burnout

Burnout happens when stress builds up for too long, leaving you feeling exhausted, unmotivated, and overwhelmed. You may start to feel like you don’t care as much about your work or that no matter how much you do, it’s never enough.

Burnout doesn’t just make work harder—it can affect your whole life. You might feel more tired than usual, get sick more often, or struggle to enjoy things you used to love.

Imposter Syndrome

Imposter syndrome is when you feel like you don’t deserve your success and fear that others will find out you’re not as good as they think. This kind of thinking can make you doubt yourself, even when you’ve worked hard to get where you are.

This feeling can affect many parts of your life. Whether it’s your job, hobbies, or personal life, imposter syndrome can hold you back.

Stress

Stress can be helpful in small amounts. It keeps you focused, motivated, and ready to handle challenges. But when stress builds up from long hours, tight deadlines, and constant pressure, it can leave you feeling drained and overwhelmed.

While you can't control everything at work, there are ways to manage stress and regain control.
